The hospital, which is flanked by the church, is situated at the east side of the elongated town centre. In 1704 the tower, which is 27 metres high, had a peaked tower. The onion tower was erected in 1734. In 1789, master builder Jakob Schellhorn undertook a modification.
The new construction of the cupola is attributed to Ignaz Hagn.
The front is decorated by three different pictures. A shamrock-shaped sheet metal board, embellished with a painting of the Trinity is located in between the plaster strips of the tower. |
